Four Seasons Photo Shoot

In this photo shoot I have presented a young musician whose favourite classical piece of music is Four Seasons from Vivaldi. Music is her meaning of life so the idea was to show her emotions and her devotion to music. The photos are everything she is, her personality and her soul.

Hollywood Style

The Hollywood Style photography was characterized with hard lights and high ratio on the images which was making them more mysterious. In the 1940s and 1950s the same lighting was represent in the Film Noir which is a term used for stylish Hollywood crime dramas, particularly those that emphasize cynical attitudes and sexual motivations. It was associated with low-key black and white visual style and the scenes were usually done inside with key light and low fill light which was creating hard shadows.
Some of my favorite actresses from that time like Audrey Hepburn, Vivien Leigh, Ava Gardner, Rita Hayworth were photographed in that style, so I tried to make a remake of their photos.
I took the photos with my DSLR in the studio and i used key light, soft fill light and hair light. I took two different poses and inverting them in black and white, made them look like the 1040s Hollywood Style.

High Speed Water Drops

Interesting studio experience... Taking photos of water drops and learning how to set up the studio and the equipment. Very helpful thing for my future work. I used my NIKON D90 and flash gun. I had the shutter speed at 1/250 and my aperture was around f/22. I managed to freeze the movement of the drops when they came in contact with the water creating interesting shapes.
